The University of Adelaide, in collaboration with the Environment Protection Authority South Australia, is currently developing a new postgraduate program in radiation management.

To assist with the development of the program, they are conducting a market survey to gauge the level of interest from radiation agencies and individual licensees across Australia.

The proposed Graduate Certificate in Radiation Management would aim to deliver tertiary-qualified graduates with the competence to supervise and manage radiation safety in mining, industrial radiography, security or scientific industries. Graduates would be trained to ensure that radiation work is carried out safely and in accordance with national and international requirements.

This program would create the next generation of tertiary-qualified Radiation Safety Officers in Australia and overseas.
