Review of the IAEA Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (TS-R-1) [updated information]
- take into account the TRANSSC 19 decisions on the issues requiring regulatory change (a summary of the key issues agreed are in the Annex); and
- remain consistent with the review cycles of the UN Committee of Experts (which produces “model regulations” for the transport of all dangerous goods) and the various international modal organizations (which produce mode-specific dangerous goods regulations).
