Your role:
As a Manager in the Environment and Radiation Health Branch you will be responsible for providing a level of leadership in studies and assessments of occupational and public exposures to the Australian population. You will manage, plan and co ordinate the activities of the Health Physics Section and undertake research requiring a considerable degree of originality, creativity and innovation. Applicants must hold Australian citizenship or possess permanent residency leading to citizenship. The position is subject to a high level security assessment.

Your qualifications
You will need a tertiary qualification relevant to a branch of the physical sciences. Your tertiary qualification may be from an Australian University or comparable overseas qualifications. A sound knowledge in radiation physics, radiation monitoring and health physics is essential.
