About the Role
The Team Leader Radiation Health leads the EPA’s radiation health operations and radiation health policy development. Working with South Australia’s medical, scientific and emerging radiation sectors, you will engage with health care providers, universities and State and Commonwealth governments, enabling access to the benefits of safe radiation use, while ensuring that risk of harm is controlled, and inappropriate uses of radiation prevented.

You will develop and implement policy and regulatory approaches to leading edge medical technologies such as carbon nanotube X-ray and proton therapy, and emerging radiation and nuclear innovations and projects, engaging with national and international authorities to deliver world leading regulatory practices.

You will provide leadership and mentoring across the team, and work across the EPA to deliver positive outcomes for the community and the environment. You will be supported by scientific, technical and policy experts, and build your skills in radiation and nuclear safety and science, regulation, engagement, environmental sustainability, and leadership.
